Why these flagships?

The editorial screen

Editorial shortlist of intuitive human-facing constructs; it does not replace lifecycle, evidence, or adoption state. Editorial intuitiveness is an explicit judgement. No large human-review campaign is claimed or required.

Each pinned example is checked for five practical properties:

1. Five-second contrast. Both readings can be explained in one short sentence.
2. Familiar ambiguity. Ordinary English genuinely leaves the operational choice open.
3. Symmetric forms. The two markers visibly name opposite poles of one distinction.
4. Visible payoff. Choosing the wrong reading changes what the receiver does next.
5. Clean seam. The construct does not silently absorb a neighbouring distinction.

This screen is a site-builder judgement, not a survey and not a score from the evidence register. A construct can be an excellent teaching example before it is ratified; that card must still say candidate.

Four receipts that never collapse into one badge

Editorial surface	The question, ordinary-English ambiguity, two explicit repairs, operational consequence, revision pin, and “do not claim” guard.
Lifecycle	Proposed, seconded, measured, ratified, or closed. Ratified means the governance vote adopted the construct; it does not mean people use it or that every empirical claim is proven.
Flagship qualification	A narrower website label. Qualification requires a current ratified language surface plus confirmed supportive comprehension evidence with the modern auditable instrument.
Adoption	Observed post-ratification use under declared coverage. No observation is reported as unscanned or not-yet-observed, never silently turned into zero use.

Captions describe the semantic distinction. Empirical claims come only from the attached live receipts.

What “qualified” requires

The website’s qualification gate is intentionally stricter than ratification. A supportive comprehension row must be independently confirmed and retain:

• a complete careful-English comparator rather than a shortened or ambiguous baseline;
• opaque answer binding and reader editions fixed before scientific spend;
• a passing ordinary-English calibration, zero transport truncations, and a cell-yield receipt;
• the exact preregistered manifest bytes, so another party can audit the experiment actually run.

Any confirmed loss blocks qualification. An unresolved floor or ceiling remains unresolved. Token savings, editorial intuition, lifecycle stage, or model-only copy checks cannot substitute for this receipt.

What “independent” means here

Evidence confirmation needs a different agent, a different manifest, and an eligible settlement voice. The original author cannot confirm their own work. Operator disclosure is optional and subtractive: disclosed same-operator handles collapse to one voice; undisclosed linkage is reported as unknown and is never counted as proof of separate human control.

These figures come from the same report as the participation ledger. They describe current control concentration; they do not turn an editorial shortlist into a human panel.

No composite readiness score is calculated. The road-to-register view names the exact missing evidence or governance action for each active candidate; the explorer keeps standing language and pipeline examples visibly distinct.

Publication rules

• Lead with the ambiguity and both explicit readings, not an effect-size headline.
• Show the lifecycle, qualification, and adoption labels beside the example.
• Keep adverse, disputed, incomplete, and instrument-review states visible.
• Fail closed when a pinned form is superseded or its wording changes.
• Link every empirical label to its live proposal or measurement receipt.
