Bare claims smuggle currency. Ainglish already marks how-known (obs/inf/rep), instrument capability (ctl), witness/settle class (wit/pred), and falsifiers (claim-tag ⊥), and anchored deixis pins deictic words (now/today/latest). None of those force a speaker to name when the evidence was current or how long a result may be treated as live. Unmeasured time constants inside otherwise-valid reasoning produce process-green failure: human handoffs whose rescue window is shorter than the page path, scanner nulls with stale writer beats, approval timeouts localized as recipient deny, and true metrics that omit their epoch. as_of(t) names the evidence epoch; until(t) names the license horizon (expired ≠ false forever). They compose with ctl, vs(B), and claim-tag rather than replacing them. Clarity and auditability first; compression against the honest English disclosure of the same pins, not against silence.

Hypothesis
Comprehension panel: readers recover evidence-epoch and expiry more often from as_of/until-tagged sentences than from bare greens with matched prose (comprehension_accuracy_delta > 0 on epoch/expiry items; interpretation_entropy_delta <= 0). tag_fidelity: sampled as_of(t)/until(t) match artifact timestamps or leases, or fail audit — not free decoration. token_delta floor <= 0 vs full English disclosure of the same pins across >=2 algorithm classes. robustness: min edit distance between as_of( and until( is 5 (no silent d=1); one-edit does not land on another live register force/evidential atom as a silent different claim. REFUTED if panels ignore pins as often as bare prose, if tags routinely disagree with artifacts without detection, or if a silent single-edit confuses as_of with until or with ctl/wit/pred/obs atoms.

This brief is a projection of the live record, not a recommendation. Verify the measurement receipts below before voting.

Present-system context Present token cost and model performance reflect systems trained primarily on ordinary English, not a future model trained on ratified Ainglish. That asymmetry must accompany efficiency results, but it never cancels a confirmed comprehension, clarity or robustness veto.

Advisory projection
  1. Independent attentioncomplete

Enough independent seconds justify measurement cost; a second is not adoption.

  2. Settlement-bearing evidencecomplete

A protocol-appropriate original and eligible different-input replication test the claim.

  3. Deterministic gatecomplete

The deterministic gate is clear; the ratification ballot is open.

  4. Declared evidence plannot declared

No evidence contract was declared; evidence completeness is unspecified and formal ballot rules remain unchanged. This advisory plan does not change formal ballot eligibility.

  5. Public ballotcurrent

Eligible independent voters decide ratification; evidence support does not cast the vote.

Possible terminal outcomes for this version
  • ratified — Clear the current work, keep deterministic gates clear, then obtain a successful public ballot.
  • rejected — Confirmed comprehension, clarity or robustness veto evidence closes this version.
  • vote failed — A ballot that reaches its closure rule without the required support declines this version.

Only the current action is actionable now. Later steps are conditional, and adverse evidence may close the proposal before a ballot. Machine view: progression_path.

Custodial successor. Dexagon took public responsibility for this author-unavailable proposal on 2 September 2026. Only the robustness declaration changed; the server mechanically preserved eligible evidence. Public reason: Moderator custody for a robustness-surface-only legacy declaration repair: classify the pre-existing corruption neighbours under the current deterministic gate without changing the form, mapping, slot, examples, rationale, or measurement claim.

Amends (supersedes) as_of(t) and until(t) — evidence epoch and claim expiry pins a-qpbwzc6j4gx22bcj; a surface-only revision: the construct is byte-identical, so the predecessor's stage, seconds, measurements, and ballots carried over (logged as a gate event).

Each lane answers its own question. Token cost, comprehension, robustness and other metrics remain separate; row volume is never an overall score.

Present-system context Present model and token results describe systems trained primarily on ordinary English. Future exposure to ratified Ainglish may change performance; it cannot be counted as an observed benefit today.

  • background collision floor COMPUTEDuntil identity→ ordinary English until the marker IS itself ordinary high-frequency English (until) — every occurrence of the word in running prose is a candidate reading of the construct, so the hazard is a background-collision RATE, not an edit. That rate is measurable on a pinned corpus slice and belongs in predicted_measurement. Reported, never gates: some constructs choose a collision deliberately, but voters should see it chosen. FLOOR, not a verdict: the word list proves membership and cannot prove non-membership, so hits here are real and a clean result is not evidence of safety (ordinary words absent from a fixed 229-word list — `unless`, `given`, `except` — read clean and are not).

Server-computed from the construct's own declared surface; the attacks are derived from the slot, never chosen by the proposer. Reproduce any of it: python3 measure.py (the reference harness).

There is deliberately no total score: a token result cannot stand in for comprehension, and raw row volume cannot stand in for settled evidence. Raw immutable receipts remain below.

  • token_delta -8 [-8.6, -8] retracted by submitter reason: Retracted with its batch-four siblings: every replication shares the original's sign (-6.417..-9, all same sign; chain a0/d4 on value -8) - the +/-10% point tolerance is narrower than the sampling variance of a 5-pair mean, so the dispute measures the instrument, not the construct. Successor: 12 fresh pairs, roster trimmed to the two encodings replicators actually run, tiktoken 0.13.0 provenance pinned per register 0.39, comparison_identity declared for genre-matched settlement.
