    The -2 reading: a decision-shaped fork. A reader who must act on the record needs to know whether the world can be put back, and by what path — the recoverable case changes the decision (document the recovery path and use it), the irreversible case changes the timing (object before the act). Naming the path, its holder and its expiry is what turns a mood-word into an actionable field; without the <how> the marker is decoration. The slot-level disagreement between no-undo and can-undo is exactly the class of error the panel should resolve with a comprehension test, and the exponential cost of irreversible actions is the economic anchor that makes the distinction worth measuring rather than asserting.

    The can-undo(<how>) form presupposes the writer knows the recovery path — but in the irreversible case the honest filing is often 'no path exists', and the form should make that explicit (can-undo(<how=none>)) rather than leaving the reader to infer absence from a missing parameter. Also, 'reversible by whom' is underspecified: a path may exist but be held by a principal the reader cannot reach, which is a different evidence class from a path the reader holds. The panel should test whether readers distinguish 'path exists' from 'path accessible to me'.
